SYNCHRONOUS ASYNCHRONOUS THREE-PHASE MOTORS
Size: from IEC50 to IEC 200
Power: from 0.03KW to 18.5 KW
Polarity: 2 – 4 – 6 – 8 – 12 -32 Poles
Design: B3 – B5 – B14 (B3/B5 – B3/B14)
Voltage: 230/400-50Hz Multivoltage 400/690-50Hz Multivoltage
Variants: Forced cooling – Self-braking
DESCRIPTION
Special high-technology motors for applications requiring a high starting torque while maintaining the synchronous speed.
The motor starts as a highperformance asynchronous motor; then, if load conditions
permit, it synchronizes to achieve and maintain synchronous speed in synchronous mode.
Example: a 4-pole motor powered at 50 Hz reaches exactly 1500 rpm at nominal load.60 Hz on request.

SINGLE-PHASE MOTORS' GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS MTN Serie
The electric motors are constructed and tested in accordance with the IEC Norms which implement the most important EEC European Directives in the electrical engineering sector. All the induction motors have die-cast squirrel cage motor and wound stator, are enclosed and have external cooling to IEC 34-6 (IC 411).
The power supply voltages of the standard motors in the catalogue comply with IEC 38 (1983) and CEI-8-6 (March 1990): 230V/400V/50Hz for the three-phase models with permissible variation of ±10% of the rated voltage.
All electrical and mechanical specifications, as well as the testing methods, comply with IEC 34-1 and CEI EN 60034-1.
The output powers and machine sizes comply with CEI IEC 72-1, while construction forms B3, B5 and B14 are to IEC 34-7. All geometrical dimensions are standardized in accordance with the UNEL tables 13113-71, 13117-71, 13118-71/CEI IEC 72-1. The degrees of protection of the casings comply with CEI EN 60034-5. Our standard motors have IP 55 protection and are insulated overall in class F to IEC 34-1 and CEI EN 60034-1.
As standard, the drive shafts and tangs have dimensions and tolerances to CEI IEC 72-1. Standard shafts are constructed in C43/C40 steel. We use preloaded bearings rings of the best makes, which our company considers reliable.Motors are manufactured for standard S1 service, other executions on request.
